Mournes Cottage Weekend
Hi - this is going to be an all ability trip which members and non members can attend. The plan is to meet at Carrick Little Car Park at 10am and go for a day's adventure on the hills weather permitting. This could be excrusions on FM, hikes on the mountains in the Annalong valley, bouldering on chimney rock, climbing on Cove - whatever you fancy (conditions permitting)! Don't worry if you've never climbed outdoors before - the only prerequisite for this trip is knowing how to lead belay (and that's only if you want to climb, if you want to hike you don't have to know)*
We will be staying the evening in the Mournes Cottage (104 Head Rd, Kilkeel, Newry BT34 4PU) at a price of £7 for non members and £2 for members. We will have a few activities planned for the evening so should be fun. The next day we plan to head out again conditions permitting.
This is going to be our last outdoor trip of the season so let's make it a blast - with Paul Swail's talk the night before you should all be pretty hyped up and ready to go on adventures!
*all activities will be conducted at your own risk
